Craig retired from the Metropolitan Police in November 2019 after over 30 years of service. His last role was a Detective Chief Superintendent within Counter Terrorism Policing.
He has been responsible for the coordination, response and investigation of terrorism incidents in the UK, and abroad where British citizens had lost their lives.
He has worked on behalf of the Home Office as an assessor on multi-agency exercises, testing the preparedness of policing to respond alongside emergency services and strategic stakeholders.
He has significant experience in all aspects of Counter Terrorism policing, security risk management, crisis response, command & control, and multi-agency working.
On leaving policing he has undertaken a number of roles across the security industry. As an Associate for the Kenyan Emergency Services, he advised and developed incident response plans for an International Olympic Team prior to their attendance at the Tokyo Games in 2021. This included developing and delivering table-top exercises for respective team leaders in order that they were prepared for, and able to mitigate, the risks to their athletes.
Craig also works within the hospitality industry, supporting clients within London and across the UK in developing their response to Martyn’s Law and the Protect duty.
